ProducedbyGrantray-LawrenceAnimation,headedbyGrantSimmons,RayPattersonandRobertLawrence,itwasanumbrellaseriesoffivesegments,eachapproximatelysevenminuteslong,broadcastonlocaltelevisionstationsthatairedtheshowatdifferenttimes.Theseriesraninitiallyasahalf-hourprogrammadeupofthreeseven-minutesegmentsofasinglesuperhero,separatedbyashortdescriptionofoneoftheotherfourheroes.Ithasalsobeenbroadcastasamixtureofvariousheroesinahalf-hourtimeslot,andasindividualsegmentsasfillerorwithinachildren'sTVprogram.
